Right at 250 showed up at Bellevue ’s fellowship hall for a great meal and to see and hear about Shepherd’s Haven. Many people helped make the night a huge success. Our pastor was there to support the ministry and to warmly welcome each participant. There were young men and women from our single’s family group who helped people find their sets along with checking folks out who wanted to give at the end of the night. Many of Bellevue ’s banquet servers did a sensational job in serving each person. The Day Center participates sang with delight and enthusiasm. Tim Simpson was the emcee who put spice into the evening. There were glowing testimonies from the Shepherd’s Haven staff, a DVD was showed with parents of special need individuals who were well pleased with the Day Center and the Men’s and Women’s homes and there was other information relative to the future of Shepherd’s Haven. Mrs. Mandy Holton and our newest resident, Angelica testified concerning how the Lord blessed and provided for this young lady to become a vital part of Shepherd’s Haven. The president, Steve Farmer, of the Shepherd’s Haven Board encouraged people to get involved by volunteering, praying and giving. The event was organized by Mrs. Brandy Pittard and her committee. Everything went well and the Lord was lifted up. At the end of the night there was over $12,500 given and $800 per month pledged. Thank you Lord for your abundant blessings.
